North Region Committee

John Pennie chairs the North Region.                                                                                           

The North Region will continue to hold events in all the locations currently served, including Leeds, Manchester and Sheffield.

The North region covers South Yorkshire up to and including Scotland, encompassing Manchester, Liverpool, Preston, Cheshire and includes a wide range of industries from manufacturing to the service- based sector. Our IFT members have a broad range of skills which enable them to lead business turnarounds and meet the needs of the North region's businesses.

This diversity presents a rewarding challenge to our local members who possess a variety of skills to lead successful turnarounds and meet the needs of the region's businesses. This has been demonstrated on numerous occasions and is evidenced by the number of past IFT Turnaround Awards winners from the region.

The Regional Committee holds several meetings during the year with speakers providing insight on a range of commercial and turnaround issues. This also provides the opportunity to network with like-minded colleagues to share market intelligence and best-practice.

Our focus is to increase the IFT's recognition, reputation and influence in the region and to be recognised by the wider business community as the first port of call in troubled times. Actively engaging IFT members will add value to your business.

The committee has extensive experience of turnaround situations but welcomes the support and involvement of local members in the running and development of what can only be described as a very bright future for the IFT in this region.
