IFT Annual Awards & Gala Dinner 2012

Widely regarded as Europe's Top Turnaround Awards, the Institute for Turnaround's annual accolades were founded over a decade ago in 2002. In that year, restructuring professional Aidan Birkett, who had joined Deloitte in 2001, was awarded ‘Turnaround Professional’ of the year. Recent IFT alumni who received the IFT Chairman’s Special Award include Sir Stuart Rose CBE, Allan Leighton, Ron Sandler CBE, Archie Norman and Adam Crozier.

We are delighted to welcome as our Presenter respected broadcaster James Naughtie. James is a lead presenter on the Today programme, host of Radio 4's Book Club and has been voted Radio Personality of the Year.

In the eleventh year of the IFT awards, their purpose continues to be celebrating organisations and individuals who have made outstandingly successful journeys from crisis to sustained Turnaround.

The guiding principles are:

• The Awards are given without fear or favour
• We judge on the basis of the evidence presented
• The awards judging proceedings are utterly confidential
• The awards selections are made mindful that IFT is looking from the special perspective of Turnaround
• We seek innovation, skills and dedication well beyond the norm; and a sustainable result

The 2012 Awards independent judging panel includes representatives from The London Business School, the Confederation of British Industry and Global Turnaround Publishing, and a number of accredited Turnaround professionals who have expertise covering the spectrum of categories, from SME's through to public companies and the Third and public sectors.
