Mark Glengarry and Christian Pilkington led the White & Case team,  working through complex legal issues to deliver a platform for the successful restructuring of Wind Hellas which was one of the largest restructurings of 2010. 

The creative legal solutions involved the use of an unprecedented mix of multi-jurisdictional restructuring tools. 

The €1.8bn restructuring of the Wind Hellas group successfully conclude following a six-month process led by a 25-strong team from White & Case as English law legal adviser.

The company's COMI was moved from Luxembourg to England to take advantage of more flexible insolvency laws, and the deal became the UK's largest "pre-pack" sale to date – involving debt of €3.5bn.
